Currently the site uses listmonk for email but ill eventually embed it into this. For now ill email snippets + exclusive stuff and link in to the #blog if you are interested.
Anyhow what have I been doing this week. A lot...
So ill just answer what I have done today.
Harry was at FBR HQ today so we solved some problems and experienced more.
It was good but as per usual Mondays are my distracted day so I always feel a bit dumb.
Because I felt dumb I decided to spend the rest of the time after my work admin building some sort of replacement for social media in all forms for myself using RSS feeds; turns out that's quite hard. I realised I only really want to see FBR ROM's and mio's Instagram. After 4 hours of trying to make an insta scraper that just kept getting blocked for too many requests...
Amongst that I allowed myself to get distracted because when its intentional I always learn new things. I found a bunch of software I wanted to explore regarding time series databases, some interesting social media scraping and data aggregation tools (good for uncovering current algo trends and mechanics to exploit all you algoholics with), and decided I might apply for Y Combinator.
I decided to make a glance dashboard which just embeds those two instagrams as an I frame on my social media tab. This means I won't miss FBR or mio posts.
What I didn't do was fix my skitzo pad. The display manager chip is loose and it needs to be reworked. So im still on the re BGA'd x230 #thinkpad.
Her name is Skinketta and I love her.
Im making something tomorrow after I fix the Skonk (the skitzopad) and have access to something that can actually run some CAD. Might get financials ready. I want to raise 500k in the next 2 months so that will definitely need to go on the list.
